About the function
As Senior Sales Manager you will lead the expansion of this company’s EV charging solutions across Europe operating from their Benelux headquarters in Rotterdam. As you’re reporting directly to the Vice President of Business and Sales Development for Europe and America, you’ll have the opportunity to make high-impact decisions fueling international expansion.
In this role, your primary focus will be business development and forging strategic partnerships. This involves identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, conducting in-depth market research, and crafting a strategic roadmap that positions the company as a leader in the EV charging market. You’ll also play a pivotal role in developing sustainable sales channels and ensuring market visibility through close collaboration with the marketing and PR teams.

Important criteria
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or business administration (or related field);
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in B2B sales, preferably in the renewable energy, automotive, or technology sectors. Experience in selling EV charging systems is highly desirable;
- In-depth understanding of electric vehicle industry trends, charging infrastructure, and related technologies;
- Demonstrated experience in B2B sales, managing large accounts, and building strategic partnerships;
- A new business hunter mentality and an expert in strategic sales planning;
- Fluent in English.
