About the function

With over a decade of experience, you understand the importance of staying ahead in a rapidly evolving industry. The role of Product Manager for Energy Storage and Virtual Power Plants requires a driven and skilled power market expert who will be responsible for the strategic development of virtual power plant solutions within Europe.

You will play a pivotal role in market analysis, policy mapping, and understanding customer needs. Based on this knowledge, you will define and progressively release a roadmap for the third generation of VPP solutions, collaborating closely with the R&D department. Additionally, the role involves building a competitive platform for virtual power plant solutions while establishing industry standards and best practices.

Main criteria

• You have more than 10 years of experience in the energy sector or related fields.
• You have a proven track record in product development for power electronics, enabling you to easily identify and anticipate market trends and translate them into commercial successes.
• You are an expert in power grids, European industry policies, distribution networks, and other relevant laws and regulations.
• You are familiar with the virtual power plant industry and have gained knowledge of distributed energy storage, aggregators, and virtual power plant business models.
