      The success of their first factory quickly led to further investments in their expertise. In 2007, they decided to produce their own wheels instead of outsourcing. Today, they fit tires and rims into wheels for their site in Ghent, as well as for Sweden, Poland, and France, catering to both their truck and bus brands. Their focus is on expanding capacity and improving efficiency. They believe in the future of their Volvo Fitting Center!

      Function information

      Your Ideal Job?

      • Coordinating, analyzing, and optimizing goods flows, making a visible contribution to key performance indicators (KPIs).
      • Developing new logistical process flows based on customer requirements, following Lean Manufacturing principles.
      • Performing time analyses and advising on the right tools and equipment.
      • Translating the needs of our sister factories into realistic production goals for the fitting center, within the set delivery times.
      • Participating in various work and project groups with your logistical expertise.

      Requirements

      A Perfect Match?

      • You have an engineering degree or equivalent experience.
      • You apply your extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing to deliver projects.
      • You are analytically strong and creative in devising solutions.
      • You have strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, in Dutch and English.
      • They work a 37.5-hour workweek with flexible working hours.
