Akkodis Belgium is looking for a dynamic Business Manager to drive their expansion in Wallonia. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of cutting-edge science and business strategy, with a focus on R&D and consultancy.
Function information
As a Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing a portfolio of consultants across Life Sciences and Food & Beverages. Together with your colleagues you will have about 135 consultants, so working together is key!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Business Development: Drive growth by opening new markets and developing large client accounts. You'll manage end-to-end relationships with clients, from initial contact to project delivery.
- Client & Consultant Management: Act as the bridge between our clients and consultants, ensuring seamless project execution. You'll also be involved in talent acquisition and screening candidates to ensure a perfect fit for our clients' needs.
- Project Oversight: Handle consultancy projects from A to Z, including service management and delivery modeling. Your strategic insights will help shape the future of our services.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Work closely with a vibrant team, including other Business Managers and recruitment colleagues, to foster a supportive and productive work environment.
- Market Analysis & Strategy: Stay ahead of market trends and competitors. Use data-driven insights to inform our strategic decisions and maintain our competitive edge.
Requirements
What I'm Looking For:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree
- 5-10 years of experience in business management, especially in strategic planning, business development, and client relationship management.
- Experience in project management is a plus
- Strong leadership skills and a knack for motivating cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English and French is a must; Dutch is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with a solid grasp of numbers and figures.
